Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde

Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde is an literature novel which I read during my school days.
The story is quiet interesting.
This story narrated from a second persona point of view named Richardson about D.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde.
Dr.Jekyll is a famous medicine practitioner and a druggist from an indistinguishable family line.
He is a very nice, friendly and a gentleman.
On the other hand, Mr Hyde is quite mysterious  but a mean, cruel and nasty person.
The story starts with Mr.Richardson seeing a incident ,a short and ugly man(Mr.Hyde) stamping a poor child where both encountered at a junction while running at opposite direction.
Then, Mr.Hyde was surrounded by the people who saw the incident and threatened him to compensate for the treatment of the poor child who was crying in pain.
Mr.Hyde signed a bankroll  and gave the father of the child.
Here where the mystery starts, the cheque has the signature of renown handsome and tall, Dr.Jekyll.
The story goes on with Mr.Richardson trying to find out the relationship between them and thinks that Dr.Jekyll maybe in trouble with and blackmailed by Mr.Hyde.
The story end by finding the death Mr.Hyde and few letters explaining what happened.
Dr.Jekyll is Mr.Hyde.
How was it?
Although Dr.Jekyll is a famous and comes from a renown family but he had some dark side of him wants to live a solitary and night life.
The problem was he can not do so as Dr.Jekyll.
So, he invented a drug which can make a different person who was Mr.Hyde who resembles his dark side.
His double life was going well until Mr.Hyde did some really bad things and Mr.Hyde form has taken dominance over Dr.Jekyll.
Failing to end this, Dr.Jekyll drank poison.
Dr.Jekyll died as Mr.Hyde.

Humans always have two sides in them and they always have the desire to do something new or nasty but they can not do so because of moral issues.

It will be either you embrace the either one or have a balance between them as long it did not bother the people.

But nasty things always have others bothered or not why are they called nasty thing.

I myself have some desires to do certain things but I refuse to do so because of moral issues and also due to my principles.

Humans must do some sacrifice to live a good life and it is not about hell or heaven.

Hell and Heaven is a abstract thing and no one could prove them exist.

Religions and moral values are there to make humans to lead a good and a life with principle.

I do not know how to explain or end this.

Bubble Boy

Finally I found you...
Bubble boy is something really fascinated me when I was very young.
Even I wanted to be in those big bubble and roll around and a lots of stuffs I wanted to do it.
At that age, it is something fun and my imagination is so awesome.
There was also some cartoons have featured bubble boy.( bubble boy is a random term used for someone live inside a bubble)
But later in my life, I understand that the someone who live in those bubble are having bubble boy disease.
There was even some movie about bubble boy and I have a unclear memory of watching them too.

 Released in 2001.

"Bubble Boy" is a comedy about a young man who was born without an immune system and has lived his life within a plastic bubble in his bedroom. When he finds out that the woman he has loved since childhood is about to be married at Niagara Falls, he builds a portable bubble suit and ventures into the outside world to win her affections. 

Although it is a comedy genre but really have some heart touching moments even I remember of being sad.(must watch again the movie) 

Another one

 

Made-for-TV movie, “The Boy in the Plastic Bubble,” starring John Travolta. The movie was inspired by real life SCID (also called bubble boy syndrome) sufferers- David Vetter and Ted DeVita. The genetic condition leaves the child unable to fight off germs.

Since I learned about bubble boy in my class today, let me explain what is bubble boy.

It is called Bubble boy disease.

An Adenosine Deaminase Deficiency(ADA).

Adenosine Deaminase have highest activity in human lymphocyte( developing T cells and B cells), components of the immune system of the body.

In ADA deficiency, 

• there will be accumulation of adenosine.
• Adenosine gets converted to AMP by adenosine kinase
• Increase in dATP
• Ribonucleotide reductase inhibited.
• No production of deoxyribonucleotides( component of DNA)
• Cells especially the T cells and B cells  cannot divide.
• The immune system will be impaired.

Most severe form of  ADA deficiency causes severe combined immunodeficiency disease (SCID)
Involving lack of both the T cells and B cells.
Children suffering from this disorder must live in sterile environment as they are prone to infections.
Here comes the bubble which has clean oxygen supply and sterilised from bacteria and germs.(means no bacteria or germs inside)
By the way, any parents scared of their children health and want to keep them very safe can keep them in this kind of bubble.Just kidding.
They need outdoor to develop a better immune strength.

Their movements will be restricted and could not live a normal life.
The child will long for a affectionate touch from the parents but they could not do so because it may endanger the child with outside germs or bacteria.
That is a life of bubble boy.
Sad story.

But there always solution for everything.Remember that.
The available treatments are

• Bone marrow transplant
• Gene therapy (under experimental level)

Disliked?

How is it feels being disliked by someone?
Although we maybe super nice to everyone we know but there must be someone we dislike.
There are people dislike me and my behavior too although I love being friendly and nice.
 Just figure it out.
To be honest, I do dislike some people but I would not show it and try my best to be nice to them.

Always remember that

Mahatma Gandhi was hated by some people.
Mother Teresa was hated by someone.
Siddhartha Buddha was hated by non believers.
Jesus was hated by the non believers.
Muhammad was hated by other non believers.
I can tell more 


Although they might be hated or disliked, they did not fall back or stop being nice to anyone.
We might done something unpleasant to someone or there might be some who does not believe in your kindness.
That is not a thing to be worried at all.
Remember that even the saints had haters.
Haters gonna hate and we have nothing to lose.
If you believe in something, stay on it and do not let go of that just because you have some haters or since hate is a strong word, i prefer dislike-rs.

It is a driving force in you to accomplish something in your life.
What if there is a goal but no will.
You are just a big disappointment to yourself.
Why did I say so?
Anything in this world has a will.

Ants have the will to find and store food for its kind.

Lioness have the will to hunt for its young.

Eagle have the will to see from the far sky to search for its food.

Cockroach have the will to survive from the dinosaur mass extinction age. 

Bats have the will to somehow find their food in night (despite of poor vision) use ultrasound

Lungfish have will to survive the drought without water.

Not only them, Humans too.

We had the will to survive the stone ages.

We had the will to survive the black plague.

We had the will to survive the wars and managed to keep away the third.

Wright Brothers had the will to fly.

Alexander Graham Bell had the will to invent the telephone.

Thomas Alva Edison had the will to invent the light bulb.

Mahatma Gandhi freed India from British because he had the will to remain peace.

Japan recovered from atomic blast because they had the will and now they proudly stand as a developed country.

I can tell more.

Without their will, we wouldn't be having this kind of life.

Travel, Communication, Light and many more made our life easier.

Every living beings have will to complete their life.

I mention again, what if you do not have the will.

 Alexander The Great failed in his conquest in India because he lost the will to survive the malaria.

 The Crusaders failed to retake Jerusalem because they lost the will.

 Genghis Khan failed to conquer the world completely because he lost the will and died.

Napoleon failed to conquer the Europe because he lost the will.

Hitler lost the WW2 because he lost the will and committed suicide.

 I just remember til this

No will, you are just an undead who lives to just to serve the purpose of living.

You can say I lost someone or something and I have no will to continue my goal but the truth is the will not in the things you say you lost because the will is always in and just that you have made it sleep or inactive.

 

So, Dont ever Loss your Will and go Forward to Success.

Long Distance Relationship

The definition of long distance relationship in my terms is couple living apart from each other in a considerably a far distance or maybe different states or even countries for a long time.
All the couples will feel to reluctant to leave away their boyfriend or girlfriend behind but they will end up with no choice.
This might because of study or work purpose.
Then may come all kinds of hope of continuing the relationship without any physical contacts.
My term of physical contact is see, hear, and touch.
Since the technology has well advanced, there is phones, and via internet video calling applications and also messenger applications too.
The hopes are definitely made possible by these applications and facilities.

My question is

CAN YOU LIVE UP TO YOUR EXPECTATIONS OF FULFILLING YOUR HOPES? 

The harsh truth is long distance relationships need more than just those phone or applications to be think of.

The question should start from inside you.

Are you determined with this guy or girl?

Are you fine without being  in a physical contact?

Are you weak enough to fall for another person?

Although you might be strong in your belief but there is always some other factors that may make you fall.

Life is always unpredictable.

You never know with who you actually destined with and maybe the person who is long distance relationship with you maybe not meant you.

How sure are you wheter the other person is also doing the same for you? that is waiting for you?

You may talk about being in a strong and stable relationship but there is always a but.

So, always be loose and free with your life if you are unsure about things that are long termed.

You never know what can happen tomorrow.

I am actually not scaring you or what, just giving you piece of mind on reevaluating your opinion or view long distance  relationship.

I would like to salute the people who managed long distance relationship and get married eventually.

Memories To be Forgotten

Let me give a scenario,

 "Currently you are in a relationship and the things between you and the person going smooth.

Both of you having good time together and the romance has no words to describe.

Everyone in the neighborhood or maybe in people in a common place example like a college or workplace, knows about both of you.

There are lots of intimate memories of both you in the forms of photos and since there are many social networking sites , the photos are staying there forever as a memories of both of you.
Everything feels like a dream."

But let me bring a twist to this story.

Both of you due to unavoidable incident had to break up.

Break up is tough and both of you will have to go to two separate ways.

But how about the memories of both of you?

They definitely be remembered by the people who know about both you.
It is not just a piece of memory that is in one person but a lots of pieces of memories on lots of people.
Moreover, there will be hundreds of photos of both of you scattered in the social networking sites.


One day, anyone from your present can ask about both of you to you.
It will be fine if both of you got together.
What if both you end being with a different people.
Is your spouse can handle it or either you can hid away from your past?

Memories once generated , they will stay there forever unless you have amnesia and you stay away from the people of your past.
It is not necessarily with a person who loved you back but applies also the person you had crush too and you tried your luck on the person and you might have told some people or someone could seen you doing it.

Something are really not avoidable. Memories are not easily forgotten.
Think about it.

I am not finished yet. You actually should cry over something which has already happened.
Be thankful that they happened and they made you a stronger person.
Memories are not meant to be forgotten.
They should be treasured whether it is sad or happy.
They are the ones which will accompany in your old age.

Medical Profession

Hello everyone,
Today I had my personality and profession development class, unusually a new lecturer came for the slot to lecture.
He started with jokes and gained applause and laughter from the whole class.
Then, along with his jokes
He asked everyone one question which no one thought of answering.

"What the soul or essence of medical profession ?"

After a long silence from my batch mates, he said he will come to it by discussing a story.
The story is about

A 34 year old mother who just gave birth and still breastfeeding the child received a shocking news stating that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer from her physician.

Devastated, and filled with other emotional torments, she then goes for mastectomy and chemotherapy which had brought her continued physical and emotional sufferings. She only want to focus on get cured and live her life.

The cancer reappeared and metastasis to her vital organs. 

More devastated and trembled with what has fallen on her.

She opted for other options which no other than stronger dosage of what she had went through earlier.

After all physical and emotional tortures, she passed away in her sleep  alone with the medical machines, tubes, wire and strangers and away from her loved ones.

The story has been made short by me.

The sir continued asking does she deserve it and why she has to die repeatedly to us.

Then he said the essence of medical profession is no other than understanding physical sufferings.

Why man is suffering?

Because he has a body.

He not only undergoes physical sufferings but also emotional sufferings.

Because humans have a mind.

That point has caught me thinking.

Then he added,

 The science of medicine is  how to cure the physical sufferings.

For example giving medicine and treatments for pains and diseases.

The art of medicine is to cure the emotional sufferings.

Because the patient has a lot to go through when he is diagnosed with a illness for example the story.

Therefore, whoever pursuing a medical profession should bear in their mind that they not only treating the body but also the mind.

Lie To Me

How you will know that a person is lying to you?
It is simple and I can 99% assure that you can know whether the person is lying or not.
 When you doubt the person's speech ,look into the person's eyes and listen the person.
If he lie , you definitely can see the slight smile, twitch in the pupil and the angle of the eyes.
Trust me
They might be look not so obvious and sure do there.

If I want to con someone,
I will take a deep breath and relax my reflexes.
I might even avoid eye contact.
Then I will lie.
But I can hold on to a lie but it will completely deceive the person and I don't want to hurt the Mother of Truth .

THE AVENGERS

The most awesome movie of the year.
The cinema was full with no place to spare.
Every second of the movie was so awesome until I can not get my eyes and ear off the screen and sound.
Worth every penny I spent to watch it in 3D.
I do not want to elaborate about the movie .

The only things were unexplained for me:
How Thor get back into the Earth?

Which portal did he used ? since the Rainbow bridge was destroyed(by him)

He needed the Tesseract to go back?

Then I should watch again...I just can't wait for the sequel of the Avengers.

We took the last bus to Manipal together because we were separated by the main group by the auto driver.

Jumbo Circus at Manipal

Hello everyone,
My exams were just over and I remembered that I promised a friend that we will go to the circus which was going on at Manipal since 4th May 2012.
The Saturday , at 7 O' clock we all got together and went for this Jumbo Circus.

Then we brought rs.100 per person and entered to watch the show.

 

The first event took place.

Then trained animals were so good at their stunts.

Here some of the events that took place with the animals.

Sorry, we could not take the pictures of the elephant because after
 a while we realised that it was prohibited to take photography.

The Circus events were so must exciting and breathtaking until I was exhausted to clap or shout after one hour.

I actually hope this poker guy do some triple on air flip.
There were african cultural show , a lovely couple on skates , girls with bicycle stunts , gimnastics , overall the girls of the circus were so talented.


I dont want to forget to mention those dwarfs too.
They were trying to be funny on their own way and the clown was so hilarious and he fool a kid which made everyone laugh.Poor kid.

Then around 2 hours of awesome moments, it finally reached it's end.

We dine Dominoes ....quite tasty yum yum yummy...

Thats how my Awesome Saturday ended..

True Story

Getting Rid of Flu during Exams

Hello, as you all know I was having exam last week.
On the second day, I started to sneeze a lot and had watery nose.
By the way, panic is not the answer and I definitely don't want to clearing my nose during my paper.
Some things I done for the cure on the day itself.

• Drink a lot of water especially when you sneeze. 
  It can give relieve from sneeze and watery nose.
• Apply some Vicks on your nose.

After 3 hours it is all fine.

Flower To Who?

 Tomorow morning I am having Biochemistry Viva and I did not take any initiative to study because I am so excited about this The Avengers  and watched some of the prequel to it; Thor,Captain America and   Ironman 2.
But later I saw my flower pot and saw the flower and I realised that it is reaching it's expiry date.
What to do?
Maybe I should to give it to someone.
Should I give it to my Viva examiner?(she would love it I guess)
Should I give it to my ex-mess best friend(she will find it disgusting)
or Should I give it to my desk mate who has a almost the same name as the flower ( we don't really had a good period of time in this Block)
The answer will be tomorrow , Who will receive it?

Before that let me explain about it's preparation..
1.I cut the trunk of the flower at a lower end to make sure it is long.
2.I cut a sponge and stuff the lower edge of the stalk into the sponge.
3.I used a used biscuits carrier to make it as a handle.
