Getting Rid of Unwanted Crush

Hello everyone, I recently helped a good friend of mine get rid an unwanted crush from a guy. Well I cant lie,I was successful enough. I just used a previous experience of mine back in 2010 with a girl who lead me on until she have a boyfriend in 2011.Cant blame her too because I didn't take any initiative to confront her and I just tried to express my feelings in other ways which no literally put me in friendzone without me realising it. Then I have this sense of sympathy for guys who definitely not having a shot on their crush and kind of becoming a nuisance to their crush.
You know what this crushes will do, buy for gifts on for their crush special occasion, texts their crush every time, even find time to be with their crush and the list will go on.
Let me come to point straight away, I have this good friend of mine who had this unwanted crush and I had this feel of sympathy for the guy who do not know he going to break his heart if he go on doing them like what happen to me. So I decide to help my friend to get rid of this guy's attention.
What I did?
The exactly same things that would made me understand that I'm not going to win the girl whom I had crush over.

Step 1
Ignorance
Try your best to ignore this guy or girl but be careful because ignorance also can lead to some theories in their head.
Example of the the theories are

• maybe the person is having trouble in accepting a person
• maybe she have some dark secrets
• maybe she has a gangster brother or family(seriously I had this theory)
•  maybe she is having an incurable disease

I can tell more but they may just overlap
So doing this Ignorance,

1. Do not reply the person whenever the person texted you and you should not ever think about texting him for anything too.I understand that if you might want to be nice but for god sake do not reply if you want to cut of this unwanted crush.
2. Definitely the second day, he will meet up you at the usual place where both of you will be there ,example like a classroom and may ask why you didn't reply the text. You must answer him that you were busy and don't text you in a stern voice. If you cant do the stern voice ,just tell that you are busy. Try to take some precaution in avoiding his advance

 Trust me,as there is old saying that ignorance is bliss.
Step 2

Precaution

Try to take some precaution in avoiding his advance.

1. Avoid any circumstances that may make him\her to feel that there is any chance that you may have the attraction over him too.
   For example, avoid things that lead to him and of course you can ask other people about your work or problem like asking a doubt.
2. Be strict with your opinion and also in conversation in both you. Don't give him a easy way to change your opinion or something.

 He/her will eventually make /her/him realise you will show sign for him. There will be some reoccurrence of his/her feelings just to make you to reconsider but you should be strict enough to kill it off.

Well this are the things that took me to get rid of the guy.
